• Modernized the Capital One Arena with the installation of full-range, self-powered adaptive line array elements – complete with custom flown equipment racks – and subwoofer components.
• Built custom equipment racks to fly behind each cluster for I/O, power distribution, and network switches and ran new fiber from the mix position.
• Installed an additional twenty-four full-range loudspeakers to cover the arena’s upper bowl’s upper-quarter, complete with delays to ensure coherent signal arrival times relative to the main system.
• Added eight more self-powered fill speakers to cover the court area from the scoreboard.
With the start of the NBA and NCAA basketball seasons in just weeks looming, Clair Global Integration (CGI) was charged with fully-modernizing Capital One Arena’s sound system from top to bottom.
