Since its formation in 1962, Southeast Christian Church has gone from strength to strength. Today, the Evangelical multi-site megachurch,based in Louisville, Kentucky, is the eleventh-largest church in the United States (calculated by average weekend attendance), serving almost 26,000 people across 14 campuses.
As such, the church enjoys large gatherings which require total clarity for both speech intelligibility and the interactive musical portions of its services. To achieve this, CGI has designed and installed audio upgrades centred around a new PA system.
The team replaced the cabling infrastructure and added new amplification products into the church’s dedicated rack room, creating a full-scale, high-quality audio system. A second phase of upgrades comprising under balcony and fill speakers will further enhance the worship experience.
