CGI was called upon to design and install a brand-new bowl sound system for historic British sports venue, Twickenham Stadium. Known globally as the official home of English Rugby, over the years it has hosted numerous England International Rugby tournaments and has welcomed spectators to its 82,000-capacity venue since 1907.

The new top-tier audio upgrades had to suit the evolving needs of its huge sporting and live events calendar, as it has also become a go-to destination for live entertainment in London. Many Clair Global artists including Lady Gaga, Rihanna, and The Rolling Stones have all performed there. In the summer of 2023, it was the turn of electronic giants Depeche Mode, whose production offered an enhanced sound experience through the venue’s concert-grade system.

Owned by the Rugby Football Union (RFU), England’s national rugby governing body, this is a noteworthy project for the UK team, who secured this once-in-a-generation project thanks to their in-depth knowledge of stadia technology and infrastructure.
